1. Introduction
Nodsly ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Nodsly platform, an automated review collection and distribution service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website at nodsly.com or use our services, including our SMS messaging program.
By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
Business Account Information: When a business signs up for Nodsly, we collect the business name, contact name, email address, phone number, billing information, and business address.
End-User Contact Information: Businesses using Nodsly provide us with their customer contact details (name, mobile phone number, and/or email address) through their own CRM or customer management system so that we may send review requests on their behalf.
SMS & Messaging Data: When we send SMS messages on behalf of a business, we collect message delivery status, opt-out requests, and responses.
Website Usage Data: We automatically collect standard log data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URL.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and provide the Nodsly platform and services
- Send SMS and email review requests on behalf of our business customers
- Process opt-out and help requests from message recipients
- Communicate with business account holders about their account and our services
- Improve our platform and develop new features
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
4. SMS Messaging & Mobile Information
Nodsly sends SMS messages to end users solely on behalf of the business that provided the contact information. Messages are limited to review requests, follow-up reminders, and related service communications.
Consent & Opt-In: Consent to receive SMS messages from Nodsly is obtained by the business through their own CRM, point-of-sale system, or customer intake process — separate from the Nodsly platform. Nodsly relies on the business to confirm that proper opt-in consent has been obtained before providing us with customer contact information.
Opt-Out: Any message recipient may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Once a STOP request is received, no further messages will be sent to that number, and a one-time confirmation will be delivered.
Help: Message recipients may reply HELP to any message to receive assistance and contact information. You may also reach us at support@nodsly.com.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies. Recipients receive a maximum of 3 SMS messages per service event (review request cycle). No ongoing marketing or promotional messages are sent.
Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Mobile information collected in connection with our SMS program is used exclusively for delivering the messaging service described above. This data is not shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to any third party for that third party's own marketing purposes.
5. Information Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We use trusted third-party services (such as Twilio for SMS delivery and payment processors for billing) that need access to certain data to perform services on our behalf. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
- Business Customers: Review responses and feedback collected through our platform are shared with the business that initiated the review request.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
6. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect and store. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
8. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information. Business account holders may update their information through the Nodsly dashboard. End users who wish to exercise their rights may contact us at the address below.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will promptly delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
